As an artist I love nature. Despite some large cities providing the backdrop to my childhood, today I know that the natural world, gardening and the annual cycle of life are inspirational to me. I feel an inner calm and harmony when I am close to nature. The colours and the chaotic forms come out in many of my pieces and when I see them I know the piece is finished.
